Cornish Woodsmith Green Woodwok Experience Days
Join me at my purpose built workshop on the edge of the woods above the Camel Valley in North Cornwall to learn woodwork the natural way.
Using age-old knowledge to take advantage of the unique properties of fresh, green wood, we will split, cleave, hew, carve and bend the raw material to bring to life perfectly imperfect, functional objects that can be used and and appreciated everyday.

In 2024 I will be running monthly workshops covering a spectrum of greenwoodworking techniques.
~Green Woodwork Experience Days offer a taste of a variety of tools and techniques.
Begin the day with a single log, learn how to identify different wood species and their properties, how to use simple handtools to process the log into workable pieces, enjoy a simple lunch served in woodenware then spend the afternoon exploring the joys of making shavings with drawknives, travishers, sloyd knives and spokeshaves.
